The very largest of the tanks found in the Terran Federation armory are classed as "Super Heavy". These vehicles dwarf conventional armored vehicles, and typically contain multiple weapon systems which can rival the firepower found in an entire squadron of common Federation tanks. While rare, and tactically limited due to their slower speed and massive fuel requirements in the field, there is no denying their effectiveness in combat once brought to bear.
The most common of this class of vehicle is the War Hammer, which features multiple weapon systems found on smaller Terran tanks which allow it to cover most battlefield roles, making this Super-Heavy tank the most versatile of its kind. In its main turret, the War Hammer features a Longsword tank-destroyer cannon and Heavy Machinegun. The Hull contains a Broadsword siege gun for close assault bombardment, while the flanks feature outward facing sponsons topped with Halberd Laser cannon turrets. Lastly, the War Hammer features three automated flak cannon turrets to ward off infantry assaults. With all of these weapon systems and the thickest armor found on a Terran Tank, it’s no wonder why the War Hammer is amongst the most feared pieces of equipment in the Federation arsenal.
