While the common Attack Drone can operate on their own with just a basic set of instructions, there exist specialized combat drones which require occasional direction by living operators to maximize their battlefield potential. Specially trained Drone Controllers operate behind the lines – able to assume control of any drone on the battlefield utilizing highly sophisticated mobile command units. Often, the Drone Controllers focus on the specialized Support or Defense Drones, hand-picking high priority targets for the former, while directing the later to assist and protect any friendly unit that comes under heavy enemy fire.
